Take a tour of the Union Pacific Railroad Museum in Council Bluffs, sharing the history of the railroad when Council Bluffs was established. Lake Manawa State Park, named for the 772 acre lake that was built by a flood in 1881, is a great place to spend the day outside. The beautiful park offers multiple ways to enjoy playing outside, including hiking trails, a playground, picnic areas, boat and paddle board rentals, and more.
